Recycling is very, very important because it helps to look after our fab and funky planet!
...all of the trees in the world were to be cut down just so that we could have paper? Some of my friends would have nowhere to live!
If only more people would recycle their paper we could save loads and loads of trees!
...people threw their glass bottles on the floor? If the bottles were broken and my friends and I were playing nearby, we could really hurt ourselves!

...our area was covered in food and drinks cans? There would be nowhere safe for us to play! Do you know it takes over 80 years for a can to rot?

How do you become a Clean Green Recycling Machine?
It's easy-peasy to recycle from home. Even you kids can do it!
My friends within Stockton Councils' Care for Your Area department are fantastic because they've made sure that each home can have a Blue Box and a Blue Bag so we can a put in any rubbish that can be recycled. They will then take it away to different factories where it will be recycled and made into new things.
They have also come up with this new fantastic idea; they have given each house a White Sack for recycling plastic and cardboard - isn't that just frogtastic! Have you received yours yet? If not, look out it's coming soon. You can find our more information by clicking here
